Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” -Matthew 6:34
God supplies all the strength we need to do all that He’s called us to do. But He rations this strength much in the same way He rationed manna to the children of Israel.
He provides sufficient strength each day for the challenges of that day…and that day only. This strength doesn’t carry over from one day to the next. You either use it, or lose it.
And He will not give you enough strength today for the confrontations, obligations, and challenges of next week, next month, or next year. That strength will be deposited in your account precisely when you need it, and not a moment before.
If you’re stressed and overwhelmed today, check your strength supply. I’ll bet you have enough to get you through this day.
And that’s all you need for now.

Hi there!! As you’re reading this, I hope your New Year’s off to a GREAT start!! I know many of you are up to your head in resolutions, or you may have giving up on your hopes and dreams because they didn’t manifest in 2008. If this blog does anything for you, I pray it encourages you to continue pushing toward what GOD has in store for you and let it be at HIS will. I know it’s almost the end of January, but the Year is still New!!
Going into 2008, I had so many expectations, I knew I would experience the “NEW BEGINNING”, but what I experienced was not on my 2008 to do list. As a matter of fact the majority of my blessings were prayers and goals that I asked for and wrote down in the middle of 2006!! The major blessing I hadn’t asked for, or did I see it in my forecast, not only in 2008, I didn’t see it coming at all…. I married the love of my life!!Again, HIS will!!
Do me a favor….. If you already have set your resolution and goals for 2009, can you add these scriptures to your list and if you’re preparing to set one, please put them on the top of your list…
Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
1 Corinthians 15:58: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 4:8-9: “We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;”
Usually I would have set tons of goals for the year. This year my prayer/resolution is to continue to be an encouragement to others and give me, with those two at the top of my pyramid everything will else will fall into place…
Enjoy your 2009 to the fullest!!!
